Seeker starts in South Africa this weekend…

Also new on M-Net this weekend is Legend of the Seeker, which starts at 7pm on Saturday. Based on Terry Goodkind’s bestselling series of fantasy novels, The Sword of Truth, Legend of the Seeker follows woodsman Richard Cypher as he transforms from a woods guide to a magical leader, with a task to stop a vicious tyrant.
This spectacular series was made by Sam Raimi,
director of the Spider-Man films on a budget of $1,5-million (about R12-million) per episode. The series follows the epic journey of a young woods guide named Richard Cypher (played by Craig Horner), a mysterious woman named Kahlan Amnell (Bridget Regan) and a wizard named Zeddicus Zul Zorander (played by Bruce Spence) out to stop Darken Rahl (Craig Parker) from
unleashing an ancient and terrifying power.
